How do free courses work?
A free course is yours to read the moment you arrive. A free account opens the rest: your Maestro stays with you and the exercises run.
What reads free
Its pages read whole. Multiple-choice questions mark your pick, and you can run an exercise's code, a project's commands or a prediction's program before you sign up, for a while each day. The rest of the conversation comes with your account, and what you wrote is waiting there.
Your free questions
Your Maestro is an AI. Before you have an account, it answers five free questions on each page a day, and only your Maestro reads them. Each answer follows the ones before it on that page. It can also tell you why your pick is right, or why it isn't.
Each answer stays in the page, under what you asked about, in this browser until the next day. Once a page's five are answered, your next question starts the free course with it waiting. If you ask a lot in a short while, free questions pause for a few minutes; the page counts down the last few before it, and says when they come back.
If an answer doesn't come, send it again. If it still doesn't, start free and your Maestro answers it there.
Keys
← and → turn the page. Ctrl+I (⌘I on a Mac) opens the question to your Maestro. A, B, C pick a choice.
Starting free
- Choose Start free, on the course's page or on any of its pages.
- Sign in, or make your account with your email: that's all it asks for.
- The course opens on your account, at the page you started from.
What waits for you
Once you're in, your Maestro answers the question you wrote after those free answers. If you picked a choice in a question on the page, your Maestro tells you why. Your question and your pick wait for you in this browser for a day. The pages you've read keep a dot in the outline, and the course's page offers to pick up where you were reading.
